Tracy Schutte got her start in real estate in 1999 and has been with Davis & Frese Inc., REALTORS® the entire time. Clients who work with Tracy know her for her honest and caring approach to buying and selling properties. She takes a full-service approach to assisting with every family and buyers’ needs. You can be guaranteed that Tracy will help you make an informed decision.
Tracy is a real estate broker and a certified Professional Real Estate Stager. With 16 years of experience in the industry, she strives to be your real estate professional for a long time to come. Tracy has helped so many people achieve outstanding results that the majority of her business now comes from referrals.
“I’m not just here to sell or list one house,” Tracy said. “Having someone trust you enough to tell their friends or family to call you for your knowledge or expertise in the real estate market is what it’s all about.” She wants to establish that lasting relationship with every client.
Tracy has been married to Jeff Schutte, the owner of Jeff Schutte Builder Inc. for 21 years. Tracy worked at Blessing Hospital for 14 years as a nurse before leaving to pursue real estate. That decision was made so she could raise her family and not use day care. Real estate was a hobby she got paid to do. She loved it, showed passion for it and seemed to be very good at it. Before she knew it, it became a full-time career. “Loving what you do it not work,” Tracy said.
She is very active with their three children. Parker, 20, attends John Wood Community College and works alongside his dad. Dale, 18, attends Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and hopes to be an Illinois State Trooper one day. Maggie, 16, attends Quincy High School and loves dance, cheer, track and tumbling.
The family is very fond of their two dogs. They rescued Sadie, the 12-year-old yellow lab, at the age of five. They also have Sugar, the 6-year-old small bichon, and both of them are true members of the family.
Commitment to community
Tracy grew up in Quincy. Her husband Jeff built their new home on Klingele Lane in 2004.
Tracy supports the Quincy School District as a silent volunteer. She works with QHS booster clubs and supports area youth through fundraisers. By working with football, wrestling and track programs she helps our young athletes do their very best.
There’s always a project or two going on at Tracy’s house. Whether it’s a new tree house, their dirt bike track, the pool house or the current barn project, the family stays busy. Before you start your own big project just to sell your home, Tracy suggests giving her a quick phone call. Don’t waste your time or money on one specific thing without her professional opinion. What the home needs isn’t always what the new owner wants to do.
